I think if you asked someone to imagine a barn owl hunting, this would be the scene that their minds create.

I'd often stand and watch as the barn owl family hunted in the lower fields, but more often than not they'd keep low and to the right where the harvest wasn't visible.

It was only on this one evening where all the conditions lined up, allowing me capture the shot i'd been dreaming of, a shot that championed both the environment and the bird that i'd come to obsess over throughout the summer months.
